For this project, I had to design a mobile app that effectively conveys information to the consumer within the phone guidelines. Digi Play is a made-up app that assists people who enjoy gaming by providing news, reviews, and recommendations. Technology and sleek were the descriptions I thought of when designing this project. Through the smooth and refined lines, it emphasized the clean overall visual that appealed to its tech-savvy audience. Using digital-like text, I took inspiration from old-school 8-bit video games and added more modern color schemes to highlight the varying range of old and new video games.
